Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students from kindergarten to 12th grade? We are currently seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to join our team in Plaistow, NH. This position offers the chance to work with diverse learners in a supportive and collaborative educational environment.

Location: Plaistow, NH
Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in grades K-12.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success and progress towards academic goals.
• Monitor student progress through ongoing assessments and data collection, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional development as outlined in students' IEPs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid New Hampshire state teaching certification in Special Education.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a K-12 educational setting.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (hours may vary)
Employment Type: W2 Contract
