Candidates must currently reside in Cleveland, OH, Atlanta, GA or Austin, TX to be considered.
Job Summary/Objective
Manages and maintains our Atlassian suite of products, including Jira, Confluence, JSM and Bitbucket. Ensures that these tools are configured to meet the needs of our teams and that they are running smoothly. Assumes responsibility for user management, automation, permissions, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)
- Administers and supports Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, JSM, Bitbucket).
- Supports accurate time tracking and reporting with Atlassian add ons.
- Configures and customizes workflows, fields, and screens.
- Manages user permissions.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to Atlassian products.
- Collaborates with teams to understand their needs and provides solutions to improve their workflows through automation.
- Stays up-to-date with the latest Atlassian product updates and best practices.
Education
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.
Experience, Skills and Key Competencies
At least 3 years of proven experience as an Atlassian Administrator or in a similar role.
Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
- Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, JSM, and Bitbucket.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Can effectively organize and manage day-to-day work and priorities, and use time, energy and resources to meet goals, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Able to communicate in a respectful, positive and constructive manner, even during times of challenge and frustration.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work, and can easily adjust to shifts in priorities as the needs of the business change.
- Able to effectively work and thrive in a remote work environment that has limited opportunities for in-person interactions.
