Account and Project Manager

We’re looking for team members that share that vision - and want to work hard to create content that inspires and mobilizes real people. We’re looking for an organized and detail oriented account and project manager to help bring our campaigns to life.


You:

  • Believe in making big change happen - and are excited about working with causes and movements who believe in that too.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in an account management and/or project management role at an advertising, marketing, public relations or digital agency
  • Are passionate about social, racial, and environmental justice – and excited to use modern communications and digital tactics to win the important fights of our time. You bring enthusiasm, and a drive for perfection, to your work every day.
  • You are creative, collaborative, and a highly-organized self-starter with at least two years experience managing digital projects and accounts.
  • You’re a self-starter who looks for solutions from the get-go – doing your own research before asking for help.

You’ll do things like:

  • Help ensure processes and best practices are followed internally, ensuring fellow specialists along with senior leadership have everything they need to get the job done.
  • Report on a weekly basis sharing where your projects are at, what its next steps are and how you’ll help the team get things done.
  • Work in partnership with clients and senior management to onboard new projects, ensuring they are on time, within scope and on budget.
  • Act as a primary client liaison on assigned projects, helping to manage expectations and ensure seamless integration with client teams.
  • Be responsible for internal project success, such as setting team agendas, following communication norms, and efficiently allocating time.
  • Organize and facilitate client calls, meetings, trainings, and strategy sessions.
  • Work with the senior project manager to build timelines and budgets while keeping teams (both internal and external) accountable and on track , flagging issues before they come up, and working with the team to find solutions. 
  • Use and optimize our workflow on tools like Slack and Teamwork, and recommend new tools for continuous improvement as we grow.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in client service and day-to-day client contact. A demonstrated ability to address client concerns thoughtfully and effectively.
  • Experience planning, managing, monitoring and seeing complex projects through to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills both in person, on zoom and over email.
  • A high level of organization, you love when things are where they’re supposed to be. 
  • Demonstrated experience with at least one (or more) of the following:
    • Understanding the complexities of a digital campaign and the pieces that need to be produced to bring a campaign to life
    • Producing live-action and animated video projects
    • Producing large-scale web projects, like organizational sites for large companies or non-profits
    • Managing email and SMS outreach
  • Experience with project management software 
  • Ability to manage teams and contractors across multiple departments, keeping folks on track and in the know about the next steps about a project
  • A track record of managing budgets and timelines

Compensation & benefits:

We expect the position to pay between $75,000 - $95,000 per year depending upon the candidate.

Successful candidates must be based in and permitted to work in Canada. This is a remote work position.
