We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations in a timely and safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a flatbed lorry to transport goods to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Load and unload cargo following proper safety procedures
- Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays, issues, or changes in delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driving Licence (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles including flatbed lorries
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition for loading and unloading duties
