Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and demonstrate a commitment to providing quality care to individuals facing various challenges. This role requires a professional who can effectively engage with clients, conduct assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans to support their mental health and well-being. We will also accept inquiries from Master's Degree level candidates working towards state licensure (we offer supervision that can be put towards licensure for LCSW and LPC associates).
Duties
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in urgent situations.
• Utilize psychopharmacology knowledge to collaborate with medical professionals regarding medication management.
• Engage in addiction counseling for clients struggling with substance use disorders.
• Apply applied behavior analysis techniques to modify maladaptive behaviors.
• Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Address gender issues counseling as part of a holistic approach to therapy.
• Work with individuals with disabilities, ensuring accessibility and tailored support.
• Conduct research to stay updated on best practices within the field of therapy.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Licensure or certification as a Therapist in accordance with state regulations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and therapeutic techniques.
• Experience in crisis intervention and working with diverse populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with psychopharmacology, addiction counseling, and applied behavior analysis will be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interaction.
