Admissions Coach (Commission-Only, Remote Contractor)
Posted 2025-09-12Note: this position will officially begin October 1, 2025.
We’re looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Admissions Coach. This is a commission-only contractor role selling access to our Executive Function Coaching Certification Program, coaching community, and 1:1 coaching packages. Our clients are primarily teachers transitioning from the classroom into building their own coaching practices.
If you’re a high-performing salesperson with a passion for education, a proven track record in consultative sales, and the ability to close high-ticket offers, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct 3–10 consultative sales calls per week with qualified leads provided by our team.
- Guide prospects through career transition decisions, helping them clarify their goals and understand our programs.
- Professionally present on video calls (Zoom/Google Meet) with a reliable internet connection.
- Follow up promptly using voice messages, texts, and email until a decision is reached.
- Track conversion rates, sales revenue, and client retention in Google Sheets or a CRM (we welcome your suggestions).
- Ensure only qualified, good-fit clients enroll — commissions are removed if a refund is issued.
- Collaborate with the founder for initial training, then operate independently.
- Provide feedback from prospects to help refine our offer and sales process.
What Success Looks Like
- High conversion rate from provided leads to paying clients.
- Low refund rates — clients you enroll remain in our community.
- Accurate and timely reporting of calls, follow-ups, and results.
- Consistently professional, positive interactions with clients and our team.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of sales experience (required) and education-related sales experience preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Consultative sales approach — ability to challenge, inspire, and guide prospects.
- Tech-savvy and organized; able to manage a pipeline and follow-up process without heavy oversight.
- Wide availability Mon–Fri, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Pacific Time.
- Easy to work with, proactive, low-maintenance, and receptive to feedback.
- Strong written, verbal, and on-camera communication skills.
Not a fit if:
You have limited availability, require heavy ongoing training, or are difficult to work with.
Compensation
- Commission-only: 7–10% of each sale (based on experience and performance).
- Typical sale value: $2,500–$5,000 (e.g., $3,500 sale at 10% = $350 commission).
- Commission paid after refund period; refunded sales = commission removed.
- Potential for increased commission with strong performance.
Tools & Support
- Leads provided — no cold prospecting required.
- Use of Google Sheets (or CRM of your choice if approved).
- Initial training: observe a sales call, have one observed, then take calls independently.
- Ongoing check-ins for support and updates.
How to Apply
- Submit your resume highlighting sales and education experience.
- Record a video pitch (max 5 minutes) explaining why you’re the ideal candidate and send it with your application to support@efcoachingacademy.com
- Be prepared to provide references who can confirm past sales performance.
