About the Role
Ready to lead the charge in the booming data-driven economy? Fivetran is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to support our growth in the German market. As a Commercial AE in the region, you’ll build lasting customer relationships as a trusted advisor alongside closing high-impact deals and where you will negotiate confidently. You will strive to ensure customer success through seamless onboarding. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, developing expertise in cutting-edge data solutions while driving meaningful results in a key territory.
This full time position based remotely in Germany.
What You’ll Do
- Drive consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement
- Collaborate with channel partners and develop superior solutions that exceed customer expectations
- Determine customer requirements and present appropriate solutions
- Effectively communicate through excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Skills We’re Looking For
- Account Executive experience selling SaaS solutions 2+ years
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience in Business Development
- Proven ability to independently manage, develop and close New Business
- A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement
- Experience collaborating and developing channel partner relationships with successful revenue generation
- Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.

- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and positive attitude
- A passion for building customer relationships and closing new business opportunities
- Confidence to close big ticket software deals ($100k to $250k ARR) to Commercial Organizations (1-2000 employees)
- You are familiar with solution-based selling approaches and have experience managing complex sales processes
- Excellent presentation and listening skills
