Role Name: Business Development Representative
Schedule:
- Part-time: 4 hours per day, 5 days per week
- 2 PM to 6 PM Monday to Friday

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic mortgage brokerage as they scale their agent recruitment efforts. You’ll be at the forefront of business development, conducting strategic outreach to experienced mortgage professionals and playing a crucial role in the company’s expansion. You’ll work with a comprehensive database of industry contacts while utilizing cutting-edge CRM technology and automation systems. - Conduct targeted outbound calls to experienced mortgage agents at competing brokerages to generate interest in joining our client’s growing network
- Deliver client or internal presentations when the Sales Manager is unavailable.
- Execute pre-sales conversations that effectively communicate value propositions and identify qualified prospects
- Schedule and coordinate appointments with experienced mortgage professionals, targeting 2 high-quality appointments per day
- Qualify leads through strategic questioning and pass qualified prospects to senior management for presentations and closing
- Maintain accurate prospect information and activity tracking in Monday.com CRM system
- Leverage automated email workflows integrated with Twilio to maintain consistent follow-up communication
- Work within peak response time windows to maximize connection rates and appointment conversion
- Collaborate with internal team to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion metrics
- Proven experience with CRM systems, with Monday.com experience highly preferred
- Proficiency with professional calling platforms, particularly RingCentral
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
- B2B sales or recruitment experience, preferably in financial services or mortgage industry
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity
- Understanding of mortgage industry dynamics and agent recruitment processes is a strong asset
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and ability to meet daily appointment targets
- Professional demeanor when representing the company to industry professionals
- Comfortable working with established databases and lead management systems
