Position Overview:
The Patient and Family Relations Team Clinical Coordinator is a full-time position with both in-person and work-from home capabilities. Our home office is located in Framingham, MA and offers PTO, sick leave, and full medical and dental benefits.
Position Responsibilities:
• Collect, record and review patient demographics/medical information
• Serves as primary point of contact for patient-related inquiries
• Review medico-legal forms
• Follow HIPAA regulations to protect patients confidentiality
• Communicates daily scheduling changes, charting, and documentation needs appropriately
• Manage phlebotomy requests and coordinate with suppliers
• Manage product kit coordination to and from patients
• Discuss financial information with patients and possibility of participation in financial-assistance-program
• Provide support by establishing payment arrangements for uninsured
• Work alongside clinical coordination team facilitating genetic testing orders
• Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
• Fluent in Spanish/Mandarin/Arabic Advantage
• College degree Life Sciences preferred
• Strong Communication skills
• Strong base knowledge of genetics
• Excellent computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization, and multitasking skills
• Outstanding customer service
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage and maintain relationships with patients
