ABAP Developer

Requirements

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
o 2-5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
o Strong proficiency in ABAP programming (Reports, Module Pool, ALV, User Exits, BADI, BAPIs).
o Experience with SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
o Knowledge of IDOCs, RFCs, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
o Familiarity with performance tuning and debugging tools.
o Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData Services (Preferred but not mandatory).
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Good communication and teamwork abilities.
o Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
o Experience with S/4HANA migration or developments.
o Understanding of SAP Modules (SD, MM, FI, SOM, CI)

Responsibilities

o Design, develop, and maintain custom programs, reports, enhancements, and interfaces using ABAP.
o Develop and optimize ABAP objects, ALV reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.
o Work on SAP Scripts, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms for document generation.
o Ensure code efficiency and performance tuning using best practices.
o Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
o Develop and maintain interfaces using IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
o Work with SAP Fiori/UI5 or OData services (if required).
o Provide technical support for existing custom solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
o Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and implement solutions.
o Prepare technical documentation for developments, including functional and technical specifications.
o Follow SAP coding standards and best practices.
