Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-oriented Account Executive to join our team in EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a robust background within the HR tech space, with experience in outbound sales to the mid-market sector. This role reports directly into the regional sales leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Sales: Lead outbound sales efforts across the EMEA region, identifying and targeting potential clients to acquire.
  • Business Development: Actively build and manage a sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring consistent growth in revenue.
  • Client Engagement: Leverage an existing network of clients and partners to quickly engage and generate new business opportunities.
  • Solution Selling: Understand customer needs and position Horizons’ EOR and payroll solutions as the best fit, providing tailored proposals and solutions.
  • Market Expansion: Contribute to the strategic growth of Horizons in the EMEA region by identifying new markets and opportunities for expansion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize business potential.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and Horizons’ business goals.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline management, and performance.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring long-term partnerships and continued revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience and min 2 years of experience in outbound sales within HR tech, ideally within the EOR or Payroll sectors.
  • A strong existing network of clients and partners within the HR tech industry that can be leveraged for immediate business opportunities.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the EOR and payroll landscape, with the ability to position solutions effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and close deals.
