Your Impact
• You will manage VAT returns submissions and balance sheet reconciliations for the team for assigned entities and the corresponding paperwork for payment.
• You will manage the submission of Intrastat reporting and other statutory and regulatory reporting.
• You will be responsible for preparing and submitting internal and external regulatory and compliance reports, and coordinating with tax advisors and regulators to ensure timely and accurate tax return filings.
• You will establish and manage strong relationships with the tax team, external auditors and tax advisors.
• You will support the manager with common processes, and other adhoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within the team.
Your Experience and Qualifications
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Practical VAT and Intrastat experience in an advisory, tax authority or industry role.
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing VAT returns, combined with a strong understanding of overseas legislation and requirements.
• Experience in dealing and managing stakeholders remotely.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
